Rogers' Rangers

Galloping Major Wargames (GM) Rogers' Rangers unit ordered from the UK!  Looking at Indians - I like the line from North Star (NS) Figures a lot.  I will try to mix in some figures that look really good from AW Miniatures.  And maybe Conquest Miniatures (CM)(now produced by Warlord Games) as well even though they don't appear to be as robust as the other model makers' lines--perhaps just Indians, along with Perry.

As Jay over at Jay's Wargaming Madness Blog shows in this pic...Northstar and GM should mix well together as they are larger, bulkier 28mm minis:

I also found this excellent pic over at Camlachie Wolfe Blog.  As you can see Conquest are indeed much smaller and only fit I think with Perry Indian line and Front Rank Indians.  I'm ordering some Redoubt Enterprises Scots, Canadians, a few Rangers and the characters from LotM movie.  I'll to see if these will indeed mix well and be compatible with my GM and North Star figures already purchased.  I will update this once the excellent looking AW Miniatures arrive and I can update the "FIW Size Compatibility War" as it rages on in my A.R./O.C.D head.  This whole Heroic scale (hefty, thick, chunky) vs. Historical (thin, slim, normal) scale madness added to the varying 25/28mm--30/35mm head-to-toe measuring is enough to drive you crazy!

• For Rangers and Colonials/Militia--mainly GM; with some AW, Redoubt, NS mixed in  
• For British--mainly AW (Regulars & Grenadiers) and Redoubt (Scots w/Bonnets); with some NS mixed in (Scots w/Bonnets)
• For French and Marines--mainly AW (Regulars) and Redoubt & AW (Marines and Milice); mixed with some Conquest and NS
